We are looking for young people, professional mariners and YWAM alumni, each who have a dream of making a difference with their lives. You can serve from a few weeks to a lifetime and have the satisfaction of knowing you made a huge difference in the lives of many. You won’t be disappointed joining a group who are all volunteers, serious about what they are called to, and live it! There is room for you!

marine

We’re looking for marine professionals to volunteer with us. Regardless of our background, we can certainly put you to work! In particular, we would welcome those with qualifications in marine engineering, first mate, and deck hands.

medical

We run primary health care, dentistry, optometry and ophthalmology clinics on board the ship and need health professionals at all levels of these industries. In addition, we also welcome applications from physios, midwives, and chiropractors as we can look at expanding our program depending on the professionals we have on board at any given time.

general volunteers

Wondering if you have anything to offer on board a medical ship? Even if you’re not qualified in marine or medical work, we require a number of people who are willing to do – ANYTHING! From cleaning and cooking, to registering patients and organising children’s programs, there is a lot to be done and many adventures to be had!

teams

We often have church or business teams who apply to work on board the ship together as crew support volunteers or as marine/medical professionals. Please register your interest early as team spots tend to fill very quickly!

virtual volunteers

If you have skills that work well from home and you are unable to join us on site we could still use your help.  If you have “back office” skills such as data entry, graphics, web, IT/programing, registrar, admin and office type skills we could do with your help.
