BCC
Bible Core Course
The BCC is a 3 month intensive course that is all about teaching you how to study the Bible. During the 12 weeks of this course your focus will be to learn different tools of inductive methodology Unlike most courses you will ever find in your life, this one isn’t just about learning some theory. All of the methods taught are done by practical application on whole books of the Bible. At the end of the school you will mastered these tools by using them on books from every different kind of writing found in the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, you will walk away with a new confidence in approaching the Bible for a life time of mission, ministry or what ever you have on your heart! This is not a school that teaches you what to believe, rather how to learn. We believe in the power of the Bible to answer all of the questions you can throw at it, and maybe even help you find some questions you didn’t know you had! Whether you are looking to learn about history, literature, word studies or just get your head around the Bible in general, the BCC is definitely for you!
If you’re looking for the opportunity to learn more about God, what the Bible has to say, or increase your skills in teaching; the BCC is definitely for you. You will learn insightful ways of studying Scripture – looking at history, people, and language in totally new ways – and gain a platform to continue a lifetime of study and learning. Understanding the Bible will lead you deeper into understanding life and the world around you, as the scriptures open up and take on new and richer meaning. This course is also about application, not just applying the truth of the Bible to your own live, but appling the learning styles as well. We will equip you to teach study methods and principles you’ve learned as well as, give you the practical opportunities to put it in action!!

School Leadership
All training staff are absolutely committed to helping you learn to study the Bible for yourself. Our goal as staff is to be available to the students throughout the school, not to give you all the answers but to help you find them as you learn.
Guest Lecturers
Speakers are sought from around the world, providing the best input with proven experience in the field. The function of the lecturer is to help you in applying the methods of inductive study to the specific book being studied in that particular week.
Individual training
We firmly believe that the best way for students to learn is for them to have a great learning environment, as well as committed staff. We endeavor to have a maximum staff to student ratio of 1:4.
Live-learn environment
Part of our philosophy of training is that learning happens all the time, not just in the classroom; so in order to maximize your learning opportunities, you have the opportunity to live in a vibrant missions community while rubbing shoulders with staff and leaders who will encourage and assist you in your development.

By giving others the tools we have gained, not only do they have the tools for a lifetime of study, but students on outreaches gain practical experience in ministering the Bible in a host of different cultures. Also, as part of the YWAM Ships Ministry, we have a heart to integrate this Bible training with other specialized, as well as general, skills with our varied ship outreaches. You will be given an opportunity to join a multi-skilled team in the hope of bringing effective and sustainably fruitful teams out into the Nations!
